Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan was second to none in Qawwali, making a name for himself all over the world thanks to his unique singing.

According to the details, Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan was born on October 13, 1948 in Faisalabad. His father’s name was Fateh Khan and he himself was a famous singer, composer and poet.

Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan showcased his talents at the international level.

Time Magazine added him to the list of Asian Heroes in 2006. As a poet, he was awarded several international awards at the beginning of his career.

Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan has given me many gifts. He gained immense fame by singing hundreds of songs and verses, including Jaane.

Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s hymn “He is God” was also well received while a national anthem was sung for the people of Pakistan and Occupied Kashmir.

In 1995, he was awarded the UNESCO Music Award, and in 1997, he was nominated for a Grammy Award.

He was diagnosed with kidney disease and passed away on August 16, 1997 at the age of 48.
